AHello,

I bought a clear acrylic groove board from sugar art studio but am having trouble with it. The gumpaste is difficult to remove from the board even though I dust it with cornflour. The gumpaste sticks to the board. Please help...I don't want to invest in another groove board.

AInstead of corn starch have you tried powdered sugar?

maybe apply a little shortening and give it a wipe with a paper towel to remove most of it -- i have a white plastic one but i don't use anything on it -- but clear acrylic might need a little grease?

oh y'know what else i do when i'm rolling out yeasted dough -- i wipe the board with a wet paper towel then flour it -- just enough tackiness for the flour to stick everywhere so  -- i've never done it for gum paste but it's a thought for you --

or put a little shortening on a towel and wipe that on the board to get your piece to release -- it should peal off -- peel off  -- appeal off -- pee loff -- :-D
