This is a not too sweet butter cream recipe. Once you try it, you won’t want to use anything else!
Supreme Butter Cream
Ingredients
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. meringue powder
1/2 c. boiling water
4 c. (sifted) powdered sugar
2 c. sweetex or hi-ratio shortening
1/2 c. oleo or white marjorine
1-2 tsp. clear vanilla
1/2 tsp. clear butter flavor
Instructions
Add granulated sugar to boiling water. Boil and stir occasionally for about 3 minutes.
Cool.
Add meringue powder and whisk until dissolved. Pour into mixing bowl. Add powdered sugar, sweetex, oleo and flavors. Mix on low speed at least 10 minutes.
