| 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
3/4 cup caster sugar 2 Tblsp. skim milk powder 125 g butter When preparing cake mix: 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla essence 1/2 cup water | |

| 1. Combine flour, sugar and milk powder in processor.
2. Add chopped, cold butter. 3. Process for about 20 seconds or until butter is evenly distributed through the dry ingredients. 4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 months. 5. TO MAKE CAKE: 6. Place cake mixture into bowl. 7. Add eggs, vanilla and water. 8. Beat on low until combined. 9. Beat on medium, about 3 minutes, or until smooth and changed in color. 10. Spread into greased pan that has been lined with greased paper. 11. Cook in moderate oven. 12. Baking Times: 13. 20 cm baba pan - 40 mins. 14. 20 cm ring pan - 40 mins. 15. 14 cm x 21 cm loaf pan - 60 mins. 16. 2 x 8 cm x 26 cm bar pans - 35 mins. 17. deep 20 cm round cake pan - 50 mins. | |
