Offered to make a cake for my brother's wedding. 2nd marriage for both so it's an informal affair with a western theme. I did explain to his fiance that I have never stacked a cake. She said no problem. Wedding is tomorrow morning at 11:00. This is a leaning, bulging cake that I'm almost ashamed to bring to the event. I hope she doesn't cry. Oh, and I'm the wedding photographer, too! And I DON'T do wedding photography. LOL!!!

It sounds delicious and actually looks pretty good. Very Happy I bet they'll be happy. I've noticed that lots of times I think a cake looks fine, then I take a photo and I'm mortified. I can see every little imperfection and I think the person will be crying, but they're always happy. Smile I love the belt, buckle and pearls here. You did fine!

Well, the cake split on the way to wedding. Added some rows of pearls to cover it up. I'm going to replace my original CC photo with a before and after. I told everyone that it takes a lot of talent to make a cake that splits symmetrically. Very Happy
