I'd just finished making the cushion for my gumpaste shoe, both of which are my first attempts, and was happily taking photos of my pride and joys, when the unthinkable happened and my shoe, which had earlier shown small signs of cracking, had now almost snapped in two. It is severly cracked in one spot and has two other pretty bad cracks - one above and one below the main one.
Is it worth trying to repair it, and if so, how do I go about it, or should I just bite the bullet and start again?

ps- the cracks are all roughly in the centre part.

I wouldn't toss it just yet but, I would start another.

If you can make a goop with the gp you're working with, making sure you have good support in that area(place parchment over the support and dust it with cornstarch just to make sure nothing sticks), apply the goop with a paint brush...assisting it carefully into the cracks,...apply the goop to both sides of the cracked area...wipe off excess and leave it to dry on the support for several days...then, remove the support and allow the underside to dry

By the way, I also posted this topic in the "How Do I" section, as I didn't know where the right place to put it was, and I put a couple of photos in there, if you're interested, so you can see exactly what has happened. You may decide it's not worth the effort to repair it, after you see the cracks!
