My husbands wants me to figure out how to make a cake that bleeds when you cut into it for a work Halloween party. Any suggestions?
Not sure this will work with anything but chocolate...but what about the molten cakes? When you cut into them they have a liquid center that oozes out. If you can figure out a way to do it (white chocolate tinted red??) it could work for you.
Any loose red filling should work.
Try canned cherry pie filling that's been pureed, when I used some just recently as a filling it oozed out with every slice I cut.
The cherries were whole and it was that sauce stuff that they are in but if you pureed it I think it would work.
Man I love me some cherry pie filling, I eat it right out of the can with a spoon!
