I have read a lot about using a cricut to cut out gumpaste figures, but is it then food safe? The adhesive on the cutting board does not seem food safe to me. What is your opinion. |

tatorchip I tried blades, still took some elbow grease. I now soak mine in boiling soapy water for about 5-10mins then take the dishwashing brush and give a quick scrub comes of so easy. Quick rinse and you're all set. |

I cover my mat with waxed paper and then the mat is still able to be used with paper. No need to remove the tackiness. |
