Does anyone know where I can buy some of this so that I can try it before I order it? |

Thanks, I just checked out ebay and the lady that is selling it wants way to much for shipping, I hate people who jack up the shipping to make more money and I refuse to order from them. |

You really have to figure out how much you are paying a pound of chocolate. Ebay really has been the best price i've seen for this chocolate. I bought 10 lbs of chocolate for 39.95 and $10 shipping. that is pretty reasonable, believe it or not. if you find someplace cheaper, please let me know. |

I don't know if you have a CHristmas Tree Shop near where you are, but at the store here in Maine they have the Guittard melt and mold 1 lb. bags for something like $3.79 per bag. |

I do, but they are like 12 ounce bags, not 1lb. bags. That price really isn't too bag, I guess. I forgot about them. The problem with those stores though, is you don't know how old that chocolate is. |

For anyone in areas that have WinCo Foods, the chocolate melts they carry in the bulk department are Guittard.
The white is around 2.14 / lb at the moment, the dark and milk are a bit higher...about 2.40, if I remember correctly. Sales are pretty brisk in most stores.
I've been working at WinCo for six years, and JUST found out the melts are Guittard, when I was getting ready to buy out the holiday shippers of 12-oz bags we get only once a year.
There are stores in Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon and Utah.
