I have had no problems refrigerating fondant accents and even fondant covered cakes. Some people do have problems though. I've heard both sides. I wonder sometimes if it has to do with your climate. I live in an extremely dry area, and for me, refrigerating fondant has not been a problem.....at least not yet! icon_smile.gif

WHEN I'VE DONE IT, (JUST ACCENTS) IT MAKES THEM APPEAR WET. EVERYTHING STAYS IN PLACE, IT'S JUST STICKY.

I have one in the fridge as we speak. COmpletely fondant covered. It will be removed an hour before delivery, it will rest on a shelf in a cool room with circulation, it will not be touched, and it will lose the shiny look soon enough. It's perfectly fine.
