I am attempting a cake this weekend out of my Wilton Course 3 workbook. The cake uses the rosette border which is taught in Course 2. That is the only course I haven't taken yet. My instructor showed me how to do it a few months ago during course 3 but I didn't take notes.

I need to know what tip to use and how to do it. I seem to remember that it was pretty simple once I got going.

As mentioned, go to Wilton's site and you will find details there. As to the tip, you can use any star tip - it depends on the size that you are looking for.

here go have a look at this... it is pretty simple just a swirling boarder. Practice on your counter before moving to the cake. Remember your pressure control in bursts and you will do fine.

thanks everyone! The board hiccupped while I was posting so I apologize for posting this thread three times!

I tried Wilton's site before posting but could only find the link to the classes, not the directions.
