Please send me some insructions on this cake.. I have an order like the shape of this beautiful cake.. I found this cake on this site.. I have left a message for her to email me but not sure if she will get it in time. thanks!

There's a really good topsy turvy tutorial on this site. That should get you started. I'd imagine there are some videos on youtube as well. Good luck!

There are several ways to approach the shape of this cake.

1) bake one layer (size example) each 10, and 9 - stack and carve more if you want. Do that for each tier you want.

2) bake 2 layers the same size and carve any way you want it to look. Have you ever watched any of the cake shows to see how to carve them? It's not all that hard, you just have to have a feel for the look. There really isn't much you can do wrongicon_smile.gif

To me looking at the cake it does not look like a topsy turvy .. Topsy turvy is cut on a slant .. this looks like it bigger on top of each layer and gets smaller.. Maybe I am crazy.. I was just trying to figure out how she done it.. thanks for replys..
