Is there a tutorial/template somewhere? I've checked the template gallery. I can do the "Duff" roses but I'd really like to try ribbon roses. I've seen lots of beautiful variations on here (some ruffly, scalloped, inverted, pushed out, etc.) and I'm looking for any help I can get. Thanks in advance!
there are some great ones on youtube. just do a search for ribbon roses. there's even one there on ribbon leaves to match the roses!
hope that helps!

it is under skeches, pattersn & templates on c/c... alamosweets, gives a great tutorial on this.. i saw this on another thread.. i guess it is still there. hth
Everytime I make them, they look like simple rolled roses rather then ribbon.... I am getting peeved. Clearly there is some gathering or ruffling or something that I am not doing that I am supposed to be.
Has anyone ever tried these using tootsie rolls or starbursts??
I just heat them up for a few second in the microwave and ... there ya go!! They are pliable enough to roll out and make roses!!! Gives you some instant color options instead of coloring fondant.... just a suggestion!!
Bashini....!
Those you tube links are soo AWESOME! Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome!
