So I'm doing cookie favors for my friend's bridal shower. They are going to be square with their monogram on it. Only thing is, her colors are champagne & black. I'm having trouble thinking of how to tie this in right (without it looking odd) on the cookies. Especially since they're no good way of getting a gold color & champagne is such a light gold. Thanks!
Are you asking how to get a champagne color or how to incorporate the colors champagne and black?? I'll try to answer both.
AmeriColor does make a gold gel. For champagne, I've used Ivory with a little bit of yellow. A tiny amount of gold with a tinier amount of yellow to brighten it up.
A champagne background with black outline and lettering is very pretty. Here are a few examples.

Sorry, guess I should've clarified! I was asking about both questions: how to get the champagne color & how to incorporate both colors without it looking funny. Thank you for the pics, they helped! Any others would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the info! I'm getting ready to make a champagne colored fondant cake in 2 weeks. So this is greatly appreciated!
P.S. Thanks for starting this thread!
