I usually like to see the cake galleries with my daughters, 14 and 6 years old, I've noticed that naughty cakes are showing in the galleries preview and is really hard to explain what kind of cakes are those to my daughters, I think it is really inappropriate to have them in the front page of the site.
Is there something that can be done so I can still sit down with my daughters and see all the great cakes in this site?

I had noticed the same thing a couple of weeks ago and was told

"You will see naughty cakes if you have them activated on your account.
To hide them, you will need to de-activate access: "

but I did not have access activated....they were showing up in the general preview not the naughty cakes previews. Seems sometimes they DO get into the general previews and unless the moderators catch it there isn't much we can do. Hopefully the posters will be very careful where they post such things.

I don't have the naughty cakes enabled, and they are showing up on the homepage for me too. I just can't open it with my boys around.

I do not have that feature enable, so I don't understand why are they showing up.

Sort of glad [ not for you all with kiddies....] that it happened to someone else besides me! I was sort of put off with the answer I did receive that it was MY FAULT that I was able to see them! Glad they are in the thumbnail size and popping up full size....they are just not my 'cup of tea'! I have been asked to do that kind of cake and have always turned them down....especially when my kids were in the home! I wouldn't make ANYTHING my kids couldn't see.

I saw one maybe two weeks ago, I saw the thumbnail and curiousity got me. I thought to myself, that can't be what I think it is, so I opened it and sure enough it was a naughty cake. The poster had put it in the bridal shower category, not the naughty category. maybe that's the problem here... maybe it's not the site or our settings. I agree with the rest of you though, those cakes are gross!

I am pretty sure its just our fellow CCers not posting their pictures in the proper folder.

Where are the Photo Gallery police? I don't want to see that crap on the homepage of CC and certainly don't want my children seeing it!

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago. I don't mind those cakes but they should not be mixed with the others. My teenagers come and talk to me while I'm on the computer and now I have to be so worried something will imbarrass us both.

A post about this in the technical support forum: http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-607025.html

If you are certain you do not have naughty cakes access turned on (like, are you sure the glitch isn't that your access somehow got inadvertently turned on? no pun intended ...the way sometimes people comments just randomly "turn off" for no good reason?) then you should definitely PM Heath or add these posts to the bottom of the thread I just posted, since it seems like right now he is working with the knowledge that it's not a problem.

I've noticed this problem too but I realized my access is actually on. Whoops. I'm not saying yours is but again, if you are certain it is not on, be sure to let Heath know that part.
