Hi, everyone. I just recently moved to Kansas after being overseas for 4 years. I am feeling a little bummed about no doing any cakes in the last few months. So I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any cake clubs in Kansas at all? I did a search, but didn't find anything-that doesn't mean they aren't out there, right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a ton!!!
Happy, caking,
Tanya |

Hi, I am not sure where you are in Kansas, but around the Overland Park area there is a cake club called Classic Confectioners Cake Club, I BELIEVE is the name. The Prez is named Kathy, but I don't think they have a website or anything. If you are in that area that seems like a nice bunch of ladies! |

Overland Park is over 3 hours away - I down near the Oklahoma border - south of Wichita. |

Oh you know I went to KS Day of Sharing last year, and there is a store in Wichita, "Cake Stuff" it was an AWESOME cake store, but I bet if you google it, or look it up they could tell you of one close by?? GOOD LUCK! |

I agree and feel the same way!!! I've been looking for contests to enter (on this site) or places to visit, clubs or whatever....anything! Seems like this area lacks a lot. |

I don't know about clubs, although if I can ever sell my house I am moving back to Kansas. I just have to say I love the Cake Stuff shop. It is very clean and organized. They are very helpful. They are a couple miles from my grandmother's home, and I go everytime I am there. They may be a good one to call and ask if they know. I know they offer different classes. The wilton ones, and also extras. |

Yes, they offer some amazing things-the best cutters and molds And there classroom is pretty big! It is about a 3 hour drive for me-but if I am ever in the area-that is were I am stopping in, and dropping some dough-the green kind |
