I've done a few FBCT's and I'd like to do a horse that is all chocolate. I've seen on here, people talking about chocolate transfers. What is the difference and how is the technique done?

Similar techniques, but different "mediums"...Check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/k.....sfer/...to assist you with chocolate transfers.

I see where the link doesn't work. Google "chocolate transfer" and there are some tutorials out there. Try this one http://agardenofcakes.blogspot.....yores.html

This one by Merissa was the most helpful to me. http://forum.cakecentral.com/m.....c&&start=0

Chocolate transfer is similar in technique to how you do it and the colors..outlining etc..as FBCT but with a chocolate transfer you are using tinted melted chocolate for the medium.

I'd recommend you use chocolate MMF. Chocolate transfers are for transferring designs.

FBCT is a frozen butter cream transfer. I found this link to a good tutorial: http://www.cakecentral.com/art.....nsfer.html

Hope that helps!
