I was just wondering if you can make Gumpaste out of Marshmallow fluff? If so does it turn out the same?

Reason behind this question is ...I want to make Gumpaste figures for an upcoming cake but I dont have Glucose and I won't be able to get the cake supply store until next week (I'm currently ill.) and the cake is due in two weeks

Thanks

The recipe I use it from Nicholaslodge.com it does not require glucose.

You can sometimes substitute corn syrup for glucose.

You can also add Tylose or gumtex to fondant to get something closer to gumpaste. It depends on what you are making, how successful it can be.

I was just wondering what recipe you found that requires glucose because the one on this site calls for tylose. I do have glucose but not tylose...are they the same thing??? If not, can you share your recipe?

Thanks JoAnnB
