Anyone ever try to recreate the Tick toc gator Amazing Mike did for the Villian cake challenge? Any tips on how to get it done.

Appreciate it. Thanks

How freaking awesome is that cake?!!! Sorry I can't advise on how to pull it off though, but I am sure that some carved rounds and a whole lotta RKT would be involved. That gator is really amazing.

Inspired by Mike's Amazing cakes, and with Susan Carberry's help, standing 3 feet tall, here is the Gator cake. The Gator body is made out of 2 - 4 layer cakes a 10" and a 9". Covered in Fondant and airbrushed. The birthday cake balancing on his nose is a dummy cake due to weight concerns.

The tail and arms were made out of RKT but the head was carved out of styrofoam and covered with fondant. Thanks for all your kind comments. It was a lot of fun seeing it come together. Very happy with it.

Thankfully, I'm better at cake than loading photos on this site.

Here's the Gator cake.
