Anyone ever try to recreate the Tick toc gator Amazing Mike did for the Villian cake challenge? Any tips on how to get it done.
Appreciate it. Thanks |

How freaking awesome is that cake?!!! Sorry I can't advise on how to pull it off though, but I am sure that some carved rounds and a whole lotta RKT would be involved. That gator is really amazing. |

Inspired by Mike's Amazing cakes, and with Susan Carberry's help, standing 3 feet tall, here is the Gator cake. The Gator body is made out of 2 - 4 layer cakes a 10" and a 9". Covered in Fondant and airbrushed. The birthday cake balancing on his nose is a dummy cake due to weight concerns. |

The tail and arms were made out of RKT but the head was carved out of styrofoam and covered with fondant. Thanks for all your kind comments. It was a lot of fun seeing it come together. Very happy with it. |

Thankfully, I'm better at cake than loading photos on this site.
Here's the Gator cake. |
