I have learned so much from Edna's youtube.com tutorials on gumpaste roses and calla lillies.
Here is what I have worked on so far. They are not perfect, but I am proud of them and know that with practice I will only get better!
Thank you Edna!!! |

Beautiful! How long did you have to wait to assemble the roses? That's the only thing that frustrated me when I was making my one and only gumpaste flower, an orchid......the amount of time it took to dry and assemble.
I don't have the patience for that. It drives me nuts. I want to put it together now!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!! I sure do like how gumpaste flowers look though and yours are beautiful!!!! Excellent!!!!

The only thing that you have to wait for is the rose cone (center) to dry. As long as you use as little glue as possible when putting on the petals then you can complete your rose all at once after the center has dried. |

I used super red. I only colored a little gumpaste at a time. That way I can get the darker red that I wanted alot faster. It does take alot of super red (by CK) to get it this red but I love it. It wont look quit this dark until it dries so keep that in mind. |
