OMG I can't believe what happened. I still am not sure. My son went to a friends house friday night like he has been doing lately, and sat morning his friends left to go to work and didn't come home until around 8 or 9 tonight. They found him laying on the couch and he was already gone. They think he died earlier in the day and no one was there. I didn't see him the coroner advised me not to. It is so unreal I still feel like it is a nightmare I can't wake up from. I don't think he did it on purpose, but I am thinking that it might of been his muscle relaxers and zoloft combination. He went out to a bar fri night with his sister and her dh, but she said that he only drank a couple of beers. he did tell me a few months ago that his heart was bothering him. His pulse was racing very fast. I don't know if he told the dr about that before they gave him this medication or not. I won't know for awhile until they get the autopsy results back. This is absolutely the worst thing I can imagine to happen. I am still in shock. I can't go to sleep right now, cause every time I close my eyes I start thinking about this. I am just glad He was up here with us for his last few days, fri night I even made him his favorite meal. He loved my meat loaf.I guess I should try to get some rest I will talk to ya'll later.
We are having his funeral thursday |

Oh honey, I'm sooo sorry. I can't even imagine what you're going through. My DH lost his sister 7 years ago this month. His parents and him do better each year, but it will never be the same. We keep her memory alive each chance we get, and still include her in the holidays. This seems to help, but everyone morns in their own way. It is always tragic when you lose a child, no matter what age. If you need anything at all, please let us know. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. Take time for yourself, and when you're ready talk with some kind of grief counsler, please don't hold it in. We love you. ((HUGS)) |

What a shock. I am so sorry to hear about your son. There is nothing that any of us could say to make you feel any better, but remember you are not alone. There is always somone on here 24 hours a day to talk to.
