I'm having a terrible time finding a box and cake board to fit a full sheet cake (18x24). The cake is for this Saturday and I was wondering if anyone out there might know where I could find these items. Thank you! Smile

I get mine at a party supply store called "Pretty Party Place". I know they are a chain, but I'm not sure if they have them where you are or not.

Sometimes at party supply store will have them -- you usually find them in an outlet mall.

I just bought a case of the cardboard w/window from my local grocery stores bakery -- they came out to be about .38 cents each. Can't beat that deal anywhere!

If you cant find one here is a work around.

1. Go to michaels or any craft place and get a large thick piece of foam core.
2. cut it to the size you need.
3. Get 2 half sheet cake boxes.
4. Put one box together and lay the sheet cake in there. But dont close up the front or put down the top.
5. Then take the other box and slide it under the sheet cake and around the other box.
6. I then just tape the sides and cut off one of the tops.

You sort of put them together like a puzzle.
Let me know if I am not clear and I can post some pictures.

Well, I still don't know about Sam's but I did go to Michael's and they don't have full sheet cake boxes. They only go up to 1/2 sheet cake. Does anyone know of where I could go purchase full sheet cake boxes?

They are really cheap at Sam's behind the bakery counter, but you have to buy in bulk - packs of 50. They are a great deal though and nice heavyweight quality. I am still using mine up that I bought over a year ago!

Well I just checked at my local Sam's club, and apparently they only sell the 1/2 sheet cake boxes to customers, not the full sheet cake boxes! Looks like I am out of luck... But thanks for your help!!! Very Happy

CK Products has them, as well as pfiel and holing...I love theres, as they have the clear lid and the boxes are a heavy cardboard, not the usual cakebox type cardboard. A lot of my full sheet cakes are very heavy!
