Can you share what you use it for? I've only used it for Michele Foster's fondant. |

I mostly do fondant cakes. That's what I use it for.
It has an expiration date of 2 yrs from now so I know I will use them.
Also remember not all Targets put the same things on clearance but if you use them you might want to check |

Is the clearance for all of the Targets, or just for your local store? |

I use it for stabilized whipped cream, mousse and homemade marshmallows - haven't tried it in fondant yet. |

Okay. Here's my recipe/technique.
Stabilized Whipped Cream
This is small quantity, multiply as needed.
4 tsp water
1 tsp gelatin
Mix & heat in microwave (just a couple of seconds) til gelatin is dissolved, then cool
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 TBS sugar
Combine cream and vanilla; beat w/ whisk attachment in electic mixer. Continue beating and slowly sprinkle in sugar. Beat until trail marks are evident. With mixer still running, slowly add the gelatin mixture in a steady stream along the side of the bowl, avoiding the whisk. Beat til stiff. |

Thanks for sharing that recipe!
Puzzlegut, I've always found that not all Targets have the same clearance but you can always check by their food isles on the clearance area
I went to my Target today again and they still have lots of them, I guess not many people use them lol |

Yomomma thank you! I will be trying that one of these not too hot days. May as well just say in the Fall. Sometimes whipped cream is just THE best icing for a cake. |
