I just got my Visa for the Us. and now that I want to make reservations it says the hotel wont take more for the convention, I also want to register for the convention it self.
Can some one help me thru please?

The only suggestion I have is to stay at one of the economy disney hotels that are around $125.00 a night and shuttle bus over to the convention hotel. |

You may have to look in the surrounding area, I'm sure there are plenty of ways to get over to where the convention is. This is posted on the ICES site:

If you were calling the Contemporary to try to book, I'm sure they are full because ICES had to add two other hotels.
I hope you find something! I can't believe it's almost here.

the website said something about being able to contact the conventionears group directly to try and get a room at the wilderness lodge. here is the quote from the ICES website:
"Please contact Group Reservations at Disney's Contemporary Resort at
407-824-3869 for booking assistance. Based on availability, reservations will be booked at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Reservations are not available for Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney's Polynesian Resort." I dont know if this helps but it might. it says that you can get to the convention via boat from the wilderness lodge. hope to see you there! |

Thank you, I got my room at the Wilderness Lodge.
Everything is set.
I have a question, why does is says that the breakfast and banquet are included in the fee, than it charged me for it?
Also, are CC members meting?
anything else I should know?
I can't wait!

I am not sure why it charged you seperately for the breakfast and the banquet, the only thing I would check is to make sure that you didn't add additional tickets on the Misc. page of the registration.

We are planning on meeting before the breakfast and we are also planning on wearing mardi-gras beads to identify ourselves as CCers.
If you are planning any meals that need reservations while you are there I would make your reservations now if they are still available. Also if you are looking for the special, after a certain hour tickets, order them now. There was post that a fellow CCer posted a year or two ago about information for first timers. I do not know if this is your first convention or not but from I can read it looks like alot of helpful information. Hope to see you there! Cant wait to meet all the wonderful people from this site.
