I am wondering if those of you who are independent contractors (For teaching Wilton) and also have a cake business are having the craft stores write your paychecks payable to yourself or to your company? I have just applied for an LLC and my husband (a finance mgr.) told me that I should see about having the checks written in the co name rather than to myself? I would appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance.

I am also a WMI and have my own business. My business is also an LLC. My Checks are made to me personally and don't go through my business. Been doing this for the last year and had no problem at tax time. My LLC is set up under my SSN as I am a small operation.
