Does anyone out there know if there are any wedding cakes posted, that are in the shape of stacked suitcases. Also, if anyone has done one, how did you charge, compared to regular fondant wedding cakes?
Thanks in advance for any help you have for me.

I have several photos of suitcase cakes saved on my computer, collected over the past 6 months, because I'd love to make one soon. They are mostly from UK and Australian websites, where detailed fondant cakes are popular.
If you PM me your email address I can attach the photos much easier.
I would charge $4- $5 per serving depending on how much detail went into each piece of luggage.

I have a suitcase case in my pics, but not stacked. I have a suitcase wedding case in June to do. I am charging 165.00 because it's for a co-worker's family member and because the sizes of cakes they want are fairly small (bottom and largest being 9 x13. I think the pricing should be based on serving, but also on detail work also. I plan on dowelling each teir to support the next tier and then dowelling through all the teirs for stability. I would so love to post the pic of the cake they want me to make, but have yet to be able to get the post/attachment to work! |

Sorry. LOL. I loved the silly giraffe I had as my avatar, which I used because I never had a decent photo of me until this one!
flowers40: when you hit the "reply" button to a post you will see a button called "add an attachment," which is right below the window that you type in your response in a post. Hit the "add an attachment" button and it will change to give you a "browse" option. Hit "browse" and then find the photo you wish to attach. Once you've done that you can simply hit the "submit" button and it will attach itself to your response.
