I'm just in love with these little gumpaste shoes that you all are making, especially the baby shoes!
I've made a few but am having a hard time getting them smooth. Any tips?
(here's what my last ones looked like - not THAT bad but could use a little help!)

Very cute!!

I'd smooth the fondant onto the table with a smoother, cut out the shapes, and let them firm up a bit before I handled them.

Then attach each part and put a piece of tissue or foam in the toe for support.

Best of luck Thumbs Up!

I used a piece of fondant shaped to the shape of the toe of the shoe cover it in cling flim place on the inside base of shoe and then drape the top of the shoe over and stick, I leave it to dry and then pull the cling film fondant out.HTH
