I tried to do a search but not very successful.
What do you do with the bottom of a cakeboard if the guests could peek under the cake? For example, when you tilt a layer or when you stack a larger layer on top of a smaller layer.

Do you cover the bottom with paper or fondant or not worry about it?

With something like this, I would probably use foamcore, which is already white and more clean-looking then cardboard... juuuust in case someone is nosy and peeks under that top tier!
