Well last night I got a call from the wedding planner for today's wedding cake, confirming delivery time and he asked me if I knew that this wedding was being filmed for Style T.V's "Who's wedding is it anyway"...uh, NO!!! Oh my goodness, I made sure every detail was just what the bride wanted. So this cake may be on tv!! Unfortunately they started video taping the moment I went into the facility with the cake cart. The bumpy brick floor was jolting the cake around.....please don't film this part, I silently prayed !!!! There was a thick filling of fresh strawberry mousse in the bottom tier and it was a bit shaky. I KNEW better but I just put too much in for filling. Anyway, once the florals were placed and they hid where the cake got minorly damaged....it was beautiful. But they filmed every moment with the cake, when I was fixing it and trying to make sure it was straight...why couldn't they go film the caterer in the kitchen!
I have know idea when it will be aired, but hopefully the bride will let her vendors know.
I am very excited. |

Beautiful Cake!!! Thank goodness the bride and groom selected a wonderful artist for their cake! It's awesome that it will be featured on TV!!! Congrats! If the cake was damaged you did a great cover up job. |

You did an awesome job on the cake! I do hope she lets you know when it will be aired. I would love to see it. I watch that show all the time. Congrats!

Oooohh, I was just watching that the other day (I love the show!) and wondering if any of our CC'ers cakes have been on the show! Oh, how funny!! Do you know who the wedding planner was???? Was it Donny?? He's great. Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!  |
