I got a call from a coffee shop that is on a military base near me asking for some information on some of my bakery items. They are not happy with the current bakery that they have been using (which is like the grandpappy of bakeries here). I compiled some information for him and then he set a meeting with me on this past Thurs. and then called me on Friday and said that they would like to go forward with us and will be sending my a good faith deposit like check next week since we have never done business together. He understands that I will have to get quite a bit of inventory to get started with them and they want me to know that they are serious  I still have some numbers to crunch but from the looks of things it is going to approximately cost me around $500ish to get my supplies to accomodate them for one month and they will be paying out approximately $1,200-$1,400 a month so that gives me around $700 profit  I know that this is not some huge thing, but hopefully when they get switched over to my stuff and people see that it is better then they will be in a position to order more quanitites from me. I was just so excited and wanted to share. |
