Hi all,
Just wanted to say I received Sugarshack's "Flawless Fondant" DVD in the mail today and it is great! I highly recommend it to anyone like me who has not had much experience covering cakes in fondant. Sharon demonstrates prepping the cakes and covers round, square, hexagon and petal shapes. I give it an A+ and 2 thumbs up |

Thanks for the review. Mines on the way and can hardly wait to see it. Sharons buttercream DVD was excellent, so I know this will be just as good. |

Shirley - I know you'll love it. Sharon's great way of explaining what she is doing, and the really good camera angles make it so easy to follow. She makes it look so easy. It gives me the confidence to try! |

In the video she used commercial fondant. She shows how to color large amounts of fondant, and 2 different ways she uses to roll it out. It is actually 2 DVDs. I haven't looked at the 2nd one yet, but the first was very good. |

Price this is what I felt too! I wanted to run out and buy a hex set of pans.. I felt like Bob the builder We can do it! LOL
seriously though.. I checked my mail on the way to the cake supply in my area and was ITCHING to get home and watch it.. Forget that I have a cake due tomorrow.. forget that I have kids at home wondering WHY in God's name do I have them watching a fondant movie (all except my 12 yo daughter who saw the cover and said SUGARSHACK!!! I thought the video was WAY thorough.. No she doesnt talk about making fondant but after the horror I just went through kneading some that was giving me fits I was ready to go buy it! lol |

I'm already anxiously awaiting the next dvd - Stacking. I am doing my first wedding cake in June for my neice's wedding. I'm sure I'll pick up some good tips to help me through it! |
