Yes photobucket is a wonderful thing!!! As is burning a cd periodically. Depending on how many cakes you make and how often, I only make one every few months or so and don't have enough to build a cd's worth right now so... Also using a digital camera with a memory card in it which only cost about $20.~ at staples is great because once full you can just store it in it's little snap shut box and save it for future needs. Good luck getting the memory outta the old on and into the new one it's very easy but if a virus took your old comp down or the mother board got fried your memory isn't going to be any good to you icon_sad.gif

Here's mine. Excuse the stuff on the counter I was organizing. That long counter is 10 ft long. It doesn't look that big in the picture.

The door looks cute! Did you do it? Also, I noticed you didn't have your own WWW for your business, but it's good to have it and that'll help you with sale increase.

Open the pics in paint. Go to image. Then stretch/skew. Go to stretch and then in the horizontal and vertical boxes put 50 in each. This will down size them for you. Then save them and try again.

Upload them to photobucket, then there is no limit to number and size to put on. icon_smile.gif

most of the rest of it is just heart borders, stripes ,faux finishes and rose borders....

that corner was empty, and i thought it just ..."needed something"....of course my son says i'm like dolly parton, more is more...i couldn't just leave any negative space....ha ha.

Sweet Confections, I just adore your little shop! it's so neat!

Tell me, do you have any help or is it all just you!?? I find that I'm all over the shop and when 9/10 o'clock at night comes along I'm so exhausted that I can't even begin to clean up..

I straighten up and come early in the am ..an hour before I open and clean then!

BUT I need a space expert to maximize my area!!! waaaaaaaaah...!!

My rent is so high I can't invest in cute little containers to keep my stuff organized!! and another shelving unit doesn't fit in my shop and the walls are so funky that I'd have to remortar them if I nail anything!!

and I 'm sooooooooooooooo Jealous of the bright and airy feel to your shop....I'm in a basement and it...FEELS and LOOK like one!

double whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! lol

You guys are great! Thanks for your wonderful comments! I have 2 employees. One works only events and the other 2 days a week, mostly to clean. I have lost my voice (literally) so she is there tending to the Christmas rush while I nurse myself back to health! icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

Merry Christmas everyone!!! -Michelle

Is your shop in the basement? Just guessing from the block walls in the pics. I would love to have a space like that, but the thought never ever occurred to me to transform my dungeon into a kitchen. Everything looks so orderly! I am so jealous! I will be keeping this thread and using lots of these ideas someday--hopefully soon!

Thanks for sharing everyone! There are really some great ideas here!

I took photos of the front of my shop and the front customer area.
We are on the side the main road is to the left. The interstate is like 4 small blocks away.

I am standing in the front door and I start pics from the left and go to the right. We have two suites and it was offices.

I just realized your pics were linked to this page. Your kitchen seems so well organized. I have so much stuff in my kitchen... the whole building.

I assume it is attached to your home in some way? Do you allow customers in your kitchen?
We try to keep them out. My husband generally takes care of that! haha
