It is the best buttercream dvd ever!!!! She shows all of her tips and tricks, even her recipie. I learned so much from watching it, stuf I have never seen or thought of before. I noticed that her buttercream thread was quite popular so I thought you guys might be interested.

I absolutley love the recipie!!! I will never go back! Watching this dvd is the best thing that has ever happened to my buttercream cakes! I will never fight the bulge again (at least on my cakes  ) |

grannys3angels, I have only watched it once so far, but I plan to watch it several more times just to help it soak in and become second nature.
Oh yes, getting rid if the bulge is a wonderful thing, and her method is fool proof. Another one of my favorites is how she shows how to make crisp, perfectly level edges. I could never figure out how she did that. |

Mine arrived today and I watched it this afternoon. Excellent DVD no matter what type of icing you use. I use IMBC but can see that some of Sharon's techniques and hints could apply to any type of icing. And it was great watching her do the square corners that I dread so much, I may bake a square cake just to try that out. This DVD is so useful, inexpensive and would make a great gift for any of your sugar friends or secret pals. |
