Hi everyone, I am fairly new to the site, (two weeks today) and I LOVE IT!!! But I have my first biggest cake for Saturday the 6th, is my daughters birthday and she wants a princess castle. I bought the wilton set and cammie was awesome with ideas for it, but i know is alot of work and I really will like to know how long in advance can I start baking the cakes? I will be making 2- 10" and 4- 6". Also I will be frosting with bc and making accents with mmf, can I start baking tomorrow? What about decorations?? If I make roses out of royal icing where can I store them? I read somewhere that you could freeze them but for how long without them breaking? I will like to thank everyone in advance, and I am sorry for asking so many questions. PLEASE HELP !!!!
You can bake and wrap the cakes tightly today and put them in the fridge. Ice Thursday night and decorate friday morning . Store RI flowers out of direct sunlight in a container loosely covered. Make sure they are completely hard before you put them in the container though.
