Just wanted to share with folks who can appreciate...
This is my wedding cake, finished friday night for yesterday's wedding. 
When the guys got back to the wedding site after the bachelor party, I took my groom by the hand, made him close his eyes, and led him over to the cake. I watched his face as he looked at it for the first time...
It was worth EVERY SINGLE MOMENT!!!!! OMG... his eyes were shining as he whimpered 'oh!' at me, and then he stared at the cake as he hugged me and told me it was EXACTLY what he'd always wanted in a wedding cake.
What woman wouldn't be proud to have a man like that, who can get that excited over his own wedding cake, as her husband?? I'm so blessed!!!
Anyhow... for those who've been waiting for pics, here it is, in all its glory!

Oh Doni, you are SO wrong! It IS perfect!! I know how important this cake was to him, (and also to you, of course!) and the fact that you did this for him... it really MEANT something to him. That makes it perfect, even if it were a Twinkie with a bride figurine on it!! You really came through girlfriend!!! Now... go enjoy being MARRIED!!!  |
