Hi there
Was wondering if anyone had any GOOD recipes for making a marbled cake. Or any tips for doing so. Id like to give it a whirl this weekend. I think it would be something nice to offer people.
Im thinking to just take my vanilla cake and my new dark choco cake batter pour in dallops at a time of both then swirl. Sounds good?
TIA

That sounds really good!
I use my yellow cake recipe, take some of the batter and add cocoa and mix it up then add the dollops to the yellow batter, swirl and bake.

Giving it a whirl is the key! Dallops of the two mixes and using a spatula whirl it around and it will create the marbled effect. I usually make a double batch of yellow and add melted chocolate to half. |
