Good Morning, and Welcome to CC.
MMF is marshmellow fondant. It's easy, cheap and great to work with. Complaints include not liking the taste of marshmellows and having trouble with sticking. Can't help you if you don't like the taste (except you can add whatever flavoring you wish)but if it's sticky, coat your hands with Crisco and then knead. The recipe is listed under the heading recipes at the top of the page. I use it and love it. |

I didn't know what marshmallow fondant was until I discovered this site. After trying it once I love the stuff. On my first attempt at making it I followed the recipe and used all of the 2lbs of powdered sugar the recipe calls for. Now I have learned that I only need about 1 1/2 lbs. If you use all the powdered sugar it makes it very dry and it will crack very easily, by reducing the sugar and also using shortening to roll it out with it is more pliable and very easy to work with. I absolutely love it. It is so much fun to work with. |
