Has anyone tried the CD-ROM Wedding Cake Design Pro??? I found the software on the internet and was contemplating purchasing it. I wondered if anyone here had tried it and how they liked/disliked it. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it. Thanks |

I have never even heard about it. Is it a software that allows you to do cake designs instead of let's saying sketching? I would be interested to know more myself. |

They had a Vendor for that software at the Omaha Convention. Her demonstration did nothing to make me buy it. It has all different cake sizes and you can add flowers or different colors to it. Right now I think it is very elemetary and I would wait for the next version. It is $50.00 I saved for other toys! |

Yes, it would allow you to do cake designs instead of sketching.
Here is the address if you want to check it out yourself.

It looks pretty basic - probably good for a bride to get some ideas; I would think something like Visio or Corel would work better since you can add in your own flowers, designs, etc... whereas with this one you seem to be stuck with the limited amount of designs they offer. Probably should keep an eye on it as they may add features as it grows. |
