I got a call earlier this morning....and I have been all of the above emotional.....so what do I do now...mom called and said I have a proposition for you....how would you like me to transform our building (which had been a summer kitchen a ways back) into a bakery for you? Oh my goodies my heart sank...She said she had the contractor coming out that worked on the bakery outside of town to give her a estimate on repairing the outside and reworking the inside...actually the interior has been remodeled but needs to come up to code.....it's in a lovely spot, has access to a large parking lot...No it won't be huge but it has to large rooms and enough for me....PLUS it is free and the repair work and upgrades will be financed by mom dear mother. Here is a couple of pics of the building and what you see in front of it and my mothers house which will be first impressions...remember still a lot of work to be done..and I have yet talked to anybody yet..but this could be a very good possibility!!! |

OMG HOW FREAKIN AWESOME IS THAT???!!! Congrats, we love love love your mom!! keep us posted on all the goings on, from someone who is in the process of building a commerical kitchen to house her newly purchased shop if you do not jump on this ASAP I may need to crack you on the forehead with a wooden spoon  |

heres a couple of more pics...one is a closer up of the building the other is of mom's house in front of the building (located in front of mom's house is the Ohio river !! ) There is a parking lot behind the building itself with a gate opening up to the back

Oh I haven't done a thing..mom and myself have to jump through some hoops first....although she has some pull it will still be rough at first...here in a couple of weeks we will go look at commercial ovens and a fridge..but for now I am just so NERVOUS....I don't want to let my mom down, she thinks I have the ability but if you look at my pics you would know I am just really just starting out...and my experience is little but I LOVE TO BAKE...I mean I love to decorate but I so love to bake fresh baked cookies and muffins and have been forever...just kinda new to the decorating. I am blessed with a wonderful mom..she has seen me struggle to find a place to open up a shop and she probably just real tired of my whining LOL. It is a beautiful place and I love it and her...thank you for letting me share my enthusiasm with u guys... |

Have you heard the saying " God can not be everywhere so that's why HE created mothers"?? She is a true blessing. I am sure that you are better than what you say you are. Keep your faith, pray a lot, take some courses, pray a lot, go for it, pray a lot, just look ahead, did I say pray a lot???
I will be praying that God gives you the guidance and confidence you need.
