How long is fondant good for? I have the Wilton rolled fondant, and I opened it 6 months ago and have stored it in the refrigerator. Is it still good?

most will last a year if kept in airtight container in cool, dark place.

(tho -- ditch the witon and use SatinIce, Fondex or make your own MMF!

Fondant stays good pretty much indefinitely. I've got some Satin Ice that's well over a year old and it's fine (and I stored it on the counter). As long as it hasn't dried out, it's fine.

I've kept mine for more than 6 months and it was still good. Takes awhile to get it back to a workable consistency (for me at least). I usually just stick it in the microwave for just a few seconds to loosen it up.

I don't refrigerate my fondant. Just wrap it in plastic wrap and in airtight container.
