the stand up bear pan feeds 12 by Wilton and the small wonder mold hills feed one so the whole thing would feed 19

I realize it is a lot of work, but $133 for 19 servings seems like a high price. For a cake like this you will definitely want a pre-payment and price agreement before you try to sell it.

You also have to consider if there is a filling, any special ingredients used, etc.

But $133 for only 19 servings sounds like too much, in my opinion.

That's $7 a serving.

Average price is usually $3 a serving, so if you did that, it would be a $57 cake.

how much do you have in the cost of the cake?

I would charge about 50-75 depending on the customer

Maybe $133 if you put it on top of a sheet cake - but seems high for 19 servings to me. I think I'd do $75 as is - only uses 1-2 batches of batter right? Not much cost to you.

Yeah, if you wanted to up the price a bit more, I'd say go $65 - $75.

OK did some poking around at the pricing matrix and realized i still needed to fine tune some of the stuff i haven't looked a t before (ie. 3d pan stuff and single serve stuff)

by the pricing matrix it says $65 (w/ filling) $57(w/o filling)

but i also added my own feature to the pricing matrix braking the cake coat down by cups used instead of batches that figure is $63(w/ filling) $55 (w/o filling)

thank you all, i wouldn't have taken a closer look at the matrix if it wasn't for your responses

I would sell each of the hills as 2 or 3 servings each. Would one person eat one whole hill?? I think the cake serves a lot more than 19, what about the tail?
this cake is worth at least $100. $63 is far too low.
Just my two cents, but we do charge a LOT more for our work in Australia, regardless of what the ingredients cost, you have to take your work into account, and make it worth your while. How long from start to finish does this cake take you? Are you getting any more than $3 per hour for the work?
It's a really cute cake too

I'm thinking it should be in the $50-$60 range.
