I have a friend who wants me to make this cake for her. I am using Lot-a-loves cake as inspiration on this. (some changes would be made) She wants me to charge her for this as I would anyone else. Only thing is I don't know really what to charge. I new at this. Any suggestions or input.
Just a 10x 15 plain yellow cake with BC frosting. Palm trees, Flip flops, hula gals/guys, Umbrellas, drop flowers on border and No fillings.

I tried to post a photo but no luck.

I have the same question. Party is this Saturday and I've been putting off telling her how much. I work with this woman and she's trying to help me get started, so I feel guilty charging her too much but quite frankly it will take a lot of time, it feels like a million degrees in my unairconditioned apartment, I'm taking the day off, and I have to buy the sheet cake pan--nevermind all the ingredients.
your help would be appreciated.
one thing that i think helps to know is that i live in new york. local bakeries range from 150-210 for a sheet cake. thank you!!!
