Someone here at CC, I'm sorry I don't remember who, created a great little petition for all of us here at CC to sign. It's main reason for being is to get Wilton Industries to change the taste of thier Fondant. We are such a large community here at CC and if we can accomplish anything it's getting 2000 signitures on this petition!!! There is an option to send to your friends and family to have them sign it as well so I say get everyone together that you know hates the taste of fondant and have them sign away!!! I signed it yesterday morning and NO ONE has signed it since I did... we need to get this out there and keep it active in the forums so come on people!!! SIGN SIGN SIGN!!!!
http://www.ipetitions.com/peti.....index.html
Thank you in advance everyone!!!
Edited to add: THIS PETITION IS FREE TO SIGN.
"We promote democracy on the Internet by helping people and organizations create online petitions like the one you just signed. We provide these services for free and rely on donations from people like you to keep the site running. Please consider donating to support us. Every donation, no matter how small, helps. Please note: Your donation will help keep iPetitions running. This is NOT a donation to the person or organization whose petition you just signed." |

No you don't. That is just a donation thing after you sign the petition. My family has signed it totalling 5 signitures and we haven't paid a thing. |

if it charges people to sign, I don't think it is a "great little petition."
If you have an issue, just email or write or Wilton directly. For free. |

Ok before people get totally discouraged from signing this wonderful petition let me state again for the record it is free to sign this petition!!!
After your signiture is recorded to the petition it does go to a page that does ask you for a donation. You do NOT have to donate anything to ipetitions to sign this petition! You sign it before the donation page even comes up. You have no obligation to donate even if you do sign it. Just like here at CC we have no obligation to donate to CC just because we are here talking right now.
Also contacting Wilton directly failed to do anything to resolve the issue and a petition is a great way to get the point across that more then just 10 people are upset about this. Petitions are the way alot of things got done in this world and I think submitting a petition to Wilton Industries with 1000 signitures instead of just one email stating it's nasty, would have a little more power.... |

bless your heart for trying - but I think Wilton KNOWS it is an issue and really doesn't care. They aren't trying to compete with Satin Ice and the rest. Their market is the home based baker who does occasional stuff, not nut jobs like us who are obsessed with perfection. |
