Does anyone have a good recipe? My grandaughter wants whipped cream and strawberries for her birthday. I want to be able to pipe it so I need a recipe with stability. Appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Hi! I like this one.

1c. crisco, 1c. sugar, 1tsp.vanilla, 1c. milk, 2T.cornstarch.

Put the milk and cornstarch in a jar and shake well, Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and cook until it is thickened. Stir vigorously and then pour onto a plate to cool.

Whip the sugar, crisco and vanilla with a mixer. Start out on low speed and then increase to high. Whip for at least 15 min. Add the cooled mixture and whip for a few minutes more until you do not feel the sugar when tasting.

The consistency should be smooth and creamy.

I multiplied the recipe x4 to crumb coat and cover a 9x13.

Use a large plate to pour your mixture into.
