This is what I was busy doing last week....my first love, painting. It was for a twins' bedroom...they are coming in a couple of weeks....a boy and a girl. The theme was moon and stars and the "hangings" and frames are actually painted flat on the walls....the one with the Greek word means "Goodnight".

Your work is beautiful! I love the moon at the top. I'm sure the twins will have many peaceful nights sleep in that room.

how gorgeous! I love how you have done this and the Starlight Starbright part of the painting is my fav..my boys now grown up used to say that poem when they saw the first star in the sky at night..
It is just beautiful! |

Hi Adven68! Your painting is absolutely beautiful. I also do a lot of painting and quilting, and sewing, and decorating! I think it must be the Taurus in us, huh? (Check out birthday).
BTW my mom taught me the three things in life that gives me the most pleasure: sewing, painting, baking!

So amazingly sweet for a baby's (or BABIES) room! The moon and then the "Starlight, Star Bright " are my favorite parts. I bet the parents-to-be were thrilled! Did you use any stencils or is it all freehand?
I love painting murals . . . we were going to hire someone to do one when our first son was born, then heard the price (went into total sticker shock! A couple thousand dollars!) so that's when I decided I could do it myself. I've also done their playroom. We're moving in a few months and I'm already salivating over the "blank canvases" that I'll have in the new house! |
