Hi and thank you for your suggestions:
I am working on a Aces cake from a deck of cards cake. I have a general idea of what I am going to do:
half of sheet cake, white buttercream icing, outline cards in black icing, add the symbols of each Ace to the card. I was thinking of adding the 4 cards to the board also, but I have never made cards before so I will only do it if they come out good. I am using a gumpaste/fondant mix. My colors are red/black and grey.
I have checked the site for other cakes and they are really nice I just thought I would reach out for more support.
Any suggestions would really be appreciated |

I have some cards on the side of one of my posted cakes. They were made of gumpaste which I cut to size, let dry and then painted. The cake was a wedding shower cake and in fortune telling the sets of cards I put on the cake showed a marriage, love in the marriage and the couple. It was exciting for me to be able to incorporate this into a cake because I've read cards since I was 15 and being able to put some extra special meaning on the cake was nice, especially when I tol the couple what thy represented. I can't get your picture to enlarge it enough to see what the cakes looks like! |

Thank you for letting me know the picture was too small to view hopefully this is better.
The picture with the cards standing up is the cake at its final stage on site.
The picture with out the cards standing up is before deliver. |
