So I just got the new funky tappits and was wondering if anybody had any tips to easily get the fondant out. Should I powder or grease the mold? Should I let my fondant/gumpaste dry before cutting and about how long?
Any tips would be appreciated so I don't have to use as much trial and error! |

Check out Edna's tutorial. The tutorial can also be found of the thread link in my signature. |

There is a great tutorial on using them on Youtube (don't think it was Edna but don't really remember). It certainly was well worth the six minutes or so to watch the tutorial before using them for the first time!
They're easy to use....let your fondant set up a bit and just lightly swipe your cornstarch dusting puff over the surface of the fondant so it has an invisible layer of cornstarch on it. Cut on a non-stick surface, scootch the cutter around to make sure you have clean cut edges, and tap it out. It's really quite easy. |
