Since I am off work right now, I too get to watch Buddy. He is very talented. Can you imagine running a business like that??? with family??? I love his cakes. As for the Nephew, I would have to lock him out. Pink walls looked like Pepto. I love watching anything that has to do with cake decorating. |

I just love the show. My DH & I watch it 2gether & laugh our butts off. His new favorite phase is "Quit busting my bawls". He thinks he's so funny saying it using an accent. I know that a lot of it is staged, but it's still so funny. I couldn't imagine working everyday with so many members of my family.
I loved the tie-dyed cake. I wonder if anyone has tried to get the same effect just rolling the fondant out without a sheeter? |

Thanks!

I love that he shows how he does stuff too. Doesn't try to keep any of it as a "trade secret." If my family worked for me, that's totally how it would be all the time
And good for Tone-Tone |

I guess I'm the odd duck out. That show drives me nuts! I've deleted all episodes I had recorded to watch when I had time and taken it off the list to record in the future.... I mean how many times can dumping things off the roof onto a schmuck be funny??? It looses me when the sisters get all in his business and cause all the (cough.. ) spontaneous chaos??
I enjoyed the first few original episodes when there was more technical things shown, and they show cased his talent. They lost me when each episode had to include some silly, staged disaster. C'mon--in all the years I've done this and catering I've never had the calamities they expect us to believe happens day after day after day.
I'd be embarrassed to have the public think I was the "boss" of such a group of dunderheads.
Bring back the 'meat'--show case his talent. Forgettabout the rest! |

I LOVE his show!! Let's face it, it's a TLC show and they believe that they need "drama". First it was the drama with the Gosslins, now the Tuttles (motorcycle show) are having "family problems". I really wish Buddy could move to The Food Network so he wouldn't have to put up with that BS.

I love watching this show regardless of the crazy things that go on. I don't care for all the roof stuff & pranks but I like how they all work together as a family. Hey lets face it you have to have some fun at work, it can't be all work & no play |
