Please forgive me if this has been discussed. I did a search trying several ways to pull the information, but nothing came up. How do you ship cakes. What kind of cake ships best? What is the process? If you have a link or any information, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance....CakeDiva70 |

I've shipped small cakes, like 6" pillow-shaped, mostly. There are all covered in fondant, and I just make sure that the cake board is secure to the bottom of the box. I put a dab of glue in the middle before I place it in the box. The cake is wrapped gently in plastic wrap and the top of the cake has a little bubble wrap....just enough to reach the top of the box when it's closed....that way, if it is flipped over, it's not going anywhere.
send it overnight or express and write fragile and this way up all over the place.
I think I've shipped 4 or 5 and they all arrived perfectly. Hope that helps |
