Can you leave a cake in a container that covered with ganache? Or shoud I refrigerate it? I made it today and it will be served tomorrow.. |

You can just cover it. It does not need to be in the fridge |

It'll be ok at room temperature as long as it's not over whipped cream because that needs refridgeration |

I meant if it's OVER a cake frosted with whipped cream then it needs to be refrigerated, my ganache is also made with heavy cream but the cake (frosting and filling) is the one that makes me decide if I put it in the fridge or not, not the actual ganache, sorry I didn't explain better ; ) |

Well, it has been served and was just fine. The frosting that I use under the ganache is the hersey syrup recipe... |
