Hello! My friend's 10 year old son wants a wrestling cake. I would like to know how to do the poles for the ring? I don't really want to use marshmallows, but I don't know what else to use? HELP! Never done this before |

You could use pretzel rods coated in candy melts for the posts. Candy melts come in many colors and can be colored with candy colors as well to get a perfect match. |

you could use the same melted chocolate or candy melts for glue, make sure to make a dot covering the licorice where it is attached. the licorice would droop or not, at your preference.
you could also loop the licorice around the pretzel once or twice before "gluing" it to the pretzel, but that depends on how long the licorice strings are. |
